Book Week Scotland is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across Scotland.

The Hub is pleased to support the event, and this year, popular children’s author, David MacPhail has produced three videos for us in which he reads excerpts from some of his latest books.

David has kindly agreed to take questions from viewers and will answer them in a follow-up video on 20th November, 2020. By sending your questions you will be entered in a prize draw.

The Language Hub is a social enterprise and operates as a Community Interest Company for the benefit of the local community in Glasgow and beyond.

We offer innovative, exciting and affordable language classes and events for children and adults at all ages and abilities, while also creating sustainable employment opportunities for teachers.

What our customers say

Have been to the hub as a mummy for Spanish Bounce and Rhyme and as a teacher for a cpd course, always made to feel very welcome and had excellent experiences. A warm, friendly place which provides excellent language courses and a great bookshop

A really cosy and welcoming venue and a fantastic French class for my daughter Fiona who is 2 years old. Great selection of books for sale in various languages as well as books and toys for kids to play with. Nice little cafe too.
